When you use our mobile application (the "App"), we appreciate that you are trusting us with your personal financial information. We take your privacy very seriously. In this privacy notice, we seek to explain to you in the clearest way possible what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have in relation to it.

1. What Information Do We Collect?

Local Storage Architecture Arthiq is built with a privacy-first, offline-first architecture. This means that all of your personal and financial data—including your name, profile picture, income, expenses, budgets, debts, split bills, subscriptions, and net worth—is stored locally on your device.

We do not have access to your data. We do not store your data on our servers, and we do not transmit your financial data over the internet to us or any unauthorized third parties.

Google Drive Cloud Backup (Arthiq Pro) If you are an Arthiq Pro user, you have the option to securely back up your data to your personal Google Drive account. If you enable this feature:

• The App requests access to a hidden, app-specific folder in your Google Drive (drive.appdata scope).
• The App only uses this access to upload, download, and manage your encrypted Arthiq backup files.
• We do not have access to your Google account, your Google Drive files, or the backup data itself. All data remains exclusively under your control within your personal Google account.

In-App Purchases and Subscriptions If you choose to upgrade to Arthiq Pro, your purchase is processed securely through Google Play and managed by a third-party service provider, RevenueCat.

• Google Play handles your payment information securely. We never see or have access to your credit card details.
• RevenueCat helps us manage the status of your subscription. RevenueCat may collect anonymous App User IDs and purchase history to verify your Pro status. You can review RevenueCat's privacy policy at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

2. How Do We Use Your Information?

Because your financial data never leaves your device (or your personal Google Drive), we do not "use" your information in any traditional sense. The data is used exclusively by the App on your device to:

• Display your financial analytics and trends.
• Calculate your net worth and budget progress.
• Sync and restore your data across your devices via your personal Google Drive.
• Send you local notifications (e.g., subscription renewal reminders).
